Jalasvirta works internationally through distributors in the following fields:
• Development of products and supply of systems for military and civilian authorities and manufacture of products from technical fabrics to be used in the a.m. systems.
• Know-how of first aid and catastrophy medicine processes and development and supply of mobile care units.
• Development and supply of systems for protection against CBRN (chemical, biological, radioactive and nuclear agents) for the needs of civilian and military crisis management organizations.

We have more than 25 years of experience in working with international military and civilian authorities. Jalasvirta develops, manufactures and markets a variety of products for physical  protection, storage, decontamination of equipment and personnel, as well as systems for military camouflage.
In 2008 the company was selected to be a Strategic Partner of the Finnish Defence Forces and also to work as a System Integrator. We aim to create networks of suitable industrial partners capable of developing products that meet the requirements of military and civilian authorities.
The products include NBC-protection and decontamination, inflatable tents, field hospitals, various cover modules and systems for military camouflage.
Jalasvirta works on the global market and is internationally known as a high class supplier of products meeting the most stringent specifications.

Jalasvirta acquired 2007 the shares of Suojasauma Oy, Kuopio, Finland from Mr. Jörn Edgren and Mr. Heikki Pitkänen. Suojasauma was founded in 1989. Jörn Edgren and Heikki Pitkänen continue as advisors to the management.
